Abstract

The article offers tips to physicians and administrators on how to effectively use their phone service to ensure positive first and lasting impression of patients. Also cited are the use of electronic health record (EHR) by health care providers, how challenges in appointment scheduling and staff services lead to patient frustration, and some recommendations to improve phone service like investing in a private branch exchange system.
