Abstract

Relapsing polychondritis is a rare autoimmune inflammatory syndrome with no established treatment guidelines or placebo-controlled clinical trials. Most treatment plans are based on anecdotal case reports. We present a case of refractory relapsing polychondritis in a patient with Crohn’s disease. She has responded well and has achieved clinical remission on treatment with interleukin-6 receptor inhibitor tocilizumab.
