Abstract
A 69-year-old man underwent thoracoabdominal multibranch endograft repair. Ten days later, computed tomography angiography demonstrated type III endoleak caused by the complete dislodgement of the left renal bridging stent. During brachial reintervention, controlled balloon dilation foreshortened the displaced stent, restoring alignment with the renal artery and enabling successful reconstruction. Six-month computed tomography angiography confirmed a patent reconstructed stent without residual endoleak. This case demonstrates the successful use of balloon-induced stent foreshortening for the endovascular salvage of a completely dislodged renal bridging stent.
