In 2016 as part of this $35 million-dollar renovation to the campus, many existing buildings on campus were upgraded. Building 1 (the Administration Building) and Building 3 (Lorton Professional Building) had an ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) ramp installed along with improved handicap railing and access to its main doors. The sidewalks connecting these two buildings with the main hospital were replaced too. Storm water drainage was improved, and the main driveway was redone with additional handicap parking added.
