About the Journal of Patient-Centered Research and Reviews (ISSN: 2330-0698)
Founded in 2014 and published by Aurora Health Care and Advocate Health Care, both now part of a six-state health system named Advocate Health, the Journal of Patient-Centered Research and Reviews (JPCRR) is a peer-reviewed medical journal focused on disseminating scholarly works devoted to improving patient-centered care practices, health outcomes, and the patient experience.
Indexed by PubMed Central, Directory of Open Access Journals, Google Scholar, and Web of Science's Emerging Sources Citation Index, JPCRR participates in industry-standard discovery and preservation tools, with articles placed in major library catalogs and databases (OCLC Worldcat, ProQuest’s Summon, Ex Libris’s Primo, and EBSCO Discovery). JPCRR is preserved in CLOCKSS and Portico, two leading preservation archives that guarantee persistent long-term access. Articles also receive digital object identifiers (DOIs) from Crossref to ensure citation links remain intact over time.
The contents of JPCRR are protected under copyright. The journal, however, grants to all users a free, irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual right of access, and a license to copy, use, print, search, and link to articles, subject to proper attribution of authorship and ownership of the rights.
