Abstract
Health systems are shifting from shared to professional governance models emphasizing accountability, engagement, and outcomes. After a multistate merger, fragmented governance structures required alignment and presented a transformational opportunity to move from shared to professional governance. Guided by the Prosci Change Management Model™, a 3-part initiative established shared principles, a Professional Governance Playbook, and the Governance Health Score™. Early adoption demonstrates engagement, resource use, and readiness for sustained, enterprise-wide measurement of governance effectiveness and accountability.
